In early November 2022, the Tugboat Department "Haikunlun" received a commission from Sinotrans Shipping Agency Co., Ltd. to tow the powerless offshore engineering vessel TOSHO (Dongxiang) from the Huangpu factory in Guangzhou to the anchorage. Due to the high navigational density of the waters passed through, the narrow and curved fairway, the pressure on navigational safety, the vessel's larger size and deeper draught, the longer towing distance, and the need to satisfy the requirements of the local Maritime Safety Bureau, the vessel had to be towed to the position of the coastal baseline before it could return to the ship, coupled with the adverse weather conditions during the towing, under the leadership of the captain of the vessel Mr. Chen Junhua, the crew of the vessel, overcame all the difficulties, and worked without rest or sleep for five consecutive days before towing the vessel to its designated anchorage. The vessel was towed to the designated anchorage and finally completed the towing operation.
