Yiulian provided high-quality repair services to Maersk shipowners from January 20 to 26, 2024. The repair work mainly includes the normal plate replacement and painting work of three ballast tanks No. 4, No. 5 and No. 8. The steel plate replacement volume is as high as 30 tons, and the painting area exceeds 1000m2. The construction period is short, task is tight and difficult, and the shipowner's requirements are high. Facing this challenge situation, we quickly coordinated manpower, and workers worked in shifts. It took only half a day to remove the old plates, and four and a half days to complete the replacement of all steel plates. During the painting work, when it was discovered that the ship's paint supply was insufficient and part of the paint did not meet the shipowner's requirements, he promptly raised questions and helped the shipowner coordinate paint resources, and worked overtime to complete the shipowner's painting requirements to ensure that the shipowner's painting requirements were met as scheduled. It left the factory at the right time and was highly praised by the shipowner. This repair also demonstrated Yiulian’s strong emergency repair capabilities, resource coordination capabilities and teamwork capabilities.
