Yiulian conducts the 4th special inspection for TS MUMBAI

TS MUMBAI entered the Dockyard for maintenance on June 20, 2022. The main project was the 4th special inspection. TS MUMBAI docked on June 29. Although affected by Typhoon No. 8 and severe weather, with the efforts of all colleagues in the engineering department, the workers worked overtime and cooperated with each other. The docking project has now been completed as planned and on July 7 Undocking on the 12th of March. The engineering department is currently working hard to comply with the ship owner's requirements and move towards the goal of completing the ship and leaving the factory on July 28.

TS MUMBAI is the first ship in Hong Kong to complete green ship repairs. It uses ultra-high-pressure water rust removal technology to remove rust on about 2,500 square meters. It uses about 50 tons less sand and nearly 1 ton of diesel than the traditional sand blasting process, and is expected to reduce carbon dioxide. The emission volume is about 3.1 tons.
